USB boot method:
a. Format a USB 2.0 drive (up to 32 GB) in FAT32 mode on your PC/Laptop.
b. Download the firmware and unzip it. (Recommended: WinRAR)
c. Put "ISPBOOOT.BIN" into the root directory of the USB drive.
d. Insert the USB drive into the Type-A port on the head unit.
e. There's a small reset hole beside the Type-A port. Poke and hold it.
f. Plug in the power. When "Updating" appears on screen, release Reset.
g. When done, unplug power and USB. Wait 2-5 seconds, then plug in power to restart.
SD card / USB method:
a. Format the SD card / USB 2.0 drive (up to 32 GB) in FAT32 mode.
b. Download the firmware and unzip it. (Recommended: WinRAR)
c. Put ALL unzipped files into the root directory of the SD card / USB (no sub-folders).
d. Insert the SD card / USB in the head unit.
e. Power on. Head unit runs the upgrade automatically and restarts when done.
f. Remove and reformat the SD card / USB. (If left in, it will re-upgrade every boot.)
If iPhone connection fails after update: Settings → General → Reset → Reset Network Settings.
Wireless CarPlay ARK app (JJK only):
This ZIP contains the ARK app used to enable wireless CarPlay via the head unit's built-in Wi-Fi hotspot.
a. Unzip on your PC.
b. Follow the included README to install the app on the DU900.
c. Pair your iPhone via Bluetooth first, then CarPlay will auto-launch.
Choosing a selection results in a full page refresh.
Press the space key then arrow keys to make a selection.
